Herschel Infrared Where to use Homes – Living Areas

Homes – Living Areas

Herschel Far Infrared heaters provide a heating solution for all your home living areas that add to the aesthetics of your house whilst keeping you comfortably warm.

Your home heating solution

The Herschel range will provide your home living areas with an infrared heater solution that you will wish you had changed to earlier. A great choice for all rooms in your house, allowing people to feel comfortable at 3-4 degrees below the air temperature at which they would normally feel comfortable using central heating systems.

All our panels look great in every room, with mirrors being particularly popular in bathrooms and corridors. Why not have a picture panel for your living room in your own stylish frame? Or a glass panel you can use in your kitchen as a dry-wipe message board? Make your heating work for you in an innovative way.

Our white panels can be ceiling or wall mounted. Because the infrared heats the room itself, cold floors are a thing of the past without the need for expensive underfloor heating. Our panels are low energy consumption making them ideal to combine with solar, battery storage and other renewable electricity generation for truly sustainable heating.

Combined with a thermostat or our Herschel iQ system you can heat your rooms exactly when you need them to be warm so you do not waste energy or cost. Set your heater to come on first thing in the morning and when you are ready for bed so you are perfectly warm when you use your bedroom. Most people like to wake up in a warm bedroom but dislike that stuffy feeling. Our heaters provide a fresher heat and prevent the circulation of dust creating a healthy living space.

Testimonials

Infrared panels might be a good alternative to convection heaters; try Herschel.

Sunday Times referral of Herschel Infrared 1/4/2018

We are extremely pleased with the purchase of a  far infrared Herschel heater for our new orangery.  Since it was positioned, we have had snow outside but have been really cozy indoors despite having a glass roof, bifold glass wall, glass door and 5 windows as well as a tiled floor.  There has been absolutely no condensation, the heat is instant and it’s positioning is discreet and safe for the grandchildren.

All of our visitors have been really impressed and they can’t work out where the heat is coming from. Standing near it is definitely on par with leaning against the kitchen range. Love it.

I’d also like to thank you for your excellent customer care and advice and the swift and reliable delivery. Fitting the unit was very straightforward for our electrician, who had never seen one before.  All in all the whole package was excellent.

“I started to plan my home refurbishment in the Summer of 2016. My priorities were comfort and sustainability. The project involved insulating an old, solid stone house, upgrading the glazing, electrics and heating, plus an extension. I visited Andy and was able to see infrared heating panels and solar working together, so decided to go for both.

Although it’s early days, the heating seems very economical to run. The solar contributes to running cost savings and we also use the spare solar electricity to heat water so my home is future-proofed. The whole house is zoned and controlled with Herschel iQ thermostats so I have the heat I like when and where needed. The house is extremely comfortable, and because of the insulation and infrared panels, we operate the system at only 16-18degC air temperature, but still feel warm.

We experienced a range of challenges during the project, but the infrared was the simplest system to integrate with the programme, and the support from the Herschel team was exemplary at all times. The Select XL mirror units, and ceiling mounted panels look great and free up lots of wall space, which really helps in some of the rooms. I also like the zero maintenance of infrared, it’s both hi-tech yet very simple to live with. I’d urge anyone undertaking a new-build or refurbishment project to get in touch with Herschel and go for infrared”!

“We were instantly impressed with the quality and appearance of the Herschel panels and have had great feedback from visitors on how good the panels look.  With the PV installation, insulated cavity, highly insulated roof and new double-glazed windows throughout, we have no doubts the system will perform really well”.

“Our holiday home is snug, dry and warm: for the first time. Herschel panels have transformed our home. Happy customers.”

“Just to say I love the heaters! Completely surpassed all my expectations already. Exactly what I wanted but even better than I anticipated. I will definitely recommend them”.

“The heaters are stylish, easy to use and fit in perfectly with our period property. Guests just can’t believe our mirrors are our heating!“

REBECCA AND RICHARD COLLIS

“I wanted an efficient, cost effective and easy to install electric heating solution to complement a solar PV installation for my recent eco selfbuild in Cornwall and the Herschel infrared panels fitted the brief perfectly.

We are half way through our first winter and the panels are exceeding expectation, the house is warm and comfortable without knowing where or how it is being heated. The internet control and monitoring is fantastic, allowing us to pre-heat the house before anyone arrives and we can check temperatures of rooms when no-one is there, giving us peace of mind”.

The companies specialising in dampness remediation predicted at least 16 weeks drying time for the houses in my area using conventional dehumidifier methods.
When our surveyor visited on the 19th January 2016 she noted how warm the house felt in comparison to those heated with convection heaters and the odour was pleasant in comparison to other houses she had visited.
As the heaters warmed the house we could visibly see the dampness in the walls reducing. Our damp readings on the internal single brick walls showed they were dry inside 7 days. The external walls which are of solid construction and three bricks thick took a little longer.
On Saturday 6th February 2016 our specialist declared the house dry. We confirm that the time taken is 44 days, if not for the Christmas period which slowed down the install it would have been several days less. The far infrared heaters have worked incredibly effectively with great results.
