“Our congregations, the ultimate customers, love the heating”.
Everyone says they look great; quite unobtrusive. Somehow, they just look ‘right’, which is what I had hoped.
I feel well supported by your after-sales service, and I hope that this valued relationship will endure. Our congregations, the ultimate customers, love the heating.
I feel thoroughly vindicated in our selection of overhead radiant heating (as opposed to under-pew convectors) and the configuring of our three Halo units as independently controllable units. Because the Halos are mounted high, there is negligible shadowing from the pew sides.
The Halos themselves take 10-15 minutes to reach temperature and provide the full radiant output. Running them at maximum 20 minutes before a service takes the chill off soft furnishings (such as pew seat cushions); I then turn them down according to the prevailing ambient temperature. With each Halo having three heat settings (1, 2, or 3/3), I started out with a simple rule-of-thumb based on some prior thermal modelling: 14-21C: 1; 7-14C: 2; 0-7C: 3).
At the end of a service I can turn off two units, leaving on the Halo that’s over the refreshment table. The zoning is also handy, allowing us to run a PCC meeting under a single Halo.
