Our heaters emit zero light, produce no distracting noise, and require zero maintenance.

Our Hot Yoga heaters can be wall or ceiling-mounted, making them adaptable to any layout while maintaining optimal performance throughout the space.

Temperature control is crucial in heat-focused classes. Comfortable Non-Stuffy Warmth from Far Infrared for all Styles

Infrared heated workouts remain one of the fastest growing fitness trends, with hot pilates joining hot yoga in the world of heat-enhanced movement. Studies show that heated practice improves strength, flexibility, and mental wellbeing so it’s no surprise hot yoga is so popular.

Different styles work at different heat levels, and modern studios are choosing far infrared heating for its gentle, sun like warmth and even heat distribution. Far infrared heats the body directly, creating a comfortably warm experience in which to practice, avoiding a stuffy and sometimes stifling environment often creating by overheating the air around you.

Warm yoga uses a mild level of heat to create a comfortable environment where the body can ease naturally into movement. This gentle warmth can help encourage flexibility without placing the practitioner under heat stress. It is often chosen for slower flows, yin practices, and classes focused on relaxation or mindful mobility.

Heated vinyasa classes typically work with a moderate level of warmth to support circulation and enhance the fluid quality of movement. When infrared heating is used, the heat warms the body directly rather than heating the air first, which creates a steady, breathable environment. This temperature range can help muscles relax while maintaining a sense of energy and stability throughout practice.

Hot Pilates or heated core conditioning practices use higher temperatures to support deeper muscular activation. The warmth encourages greater engagement of stabilising muscles and may increase cardiovascular challenge. This environment is often dynamic and focused on strength-building alongside mobility.

Bikram yoga follows a set 26-posture sequence in a room heated to around 40°C with controlled humidity. The heat level in this style is intentionally higher, helping practitioners work through deeper levels of physical and mental discipline. The warm and humid environment encourages significant perspiration and requires careful pacing and hydration.

Benefits of infrared-heated hot yoga

How Does Infrared Work?

Herschel Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, like the natural heat of the sun, rather than heating the air.  Infrared is a gentle, natural form of heating, often used in incubators for babies.

In heated yoga and hot pilates workouts, this delivers fast, even warmth that penetrates muscles, promotes relaxation, and aids detoxication, keeping the air feeling fresh and helping every stretch feel deeper and more comfortable. Unlike convection systems that heat the air which can quickly feel stuffy or dry, infrared creates a clean, balanced wellness environment that enhances every movement.

Hot yoga studios are choosing far infrared heating to deliver the benefits from hot yoga techniques whilst creating an enjoyable wellness practice.

Unrivalled Levels of Control with Herschel InfraSense™

With Herschel’s revolutionary InfraSense™ control system, your heaters will continually scan the heated zone to ensure every area is precisely heated to your target temperature. This means that no matter where you are in the room, each person will be experiencing the same level of heat. InfraSense™ is a patented system which measures air and radiant temperature to calculate the ‘feels like’ temperature in the room, ensuring unmatched precision, perfect for reaching specific temperature requirements for different types of heated movement workouts. No other system on the market can achieve this level of control.

Customer Testimonials

“Definitely feel it warms them from the inside out”

All of my clients have commented on how good the heat is. They definitely feel it warms them from the inside out and they can push themselves harder in the postures! They also like that when it reaches temperature the heaters cut out and so they get a small relief until they start back up again. It creates the perfect amount of humidity as well – being in a small space it works so well that we get a big sweat which for bikram is ideal as it cools the body down slightly to be able to continue to work hard. I have worked in many studios and can definitely recommend infrared over any other types of heating.
