What are the ongoing costs of maintenance?

Electric Infrared heaters have very low maintenance: 

• There are no moving parts or fluid systems 

• Occasional dusting or cleaning of heaters may be required when they are turned off if there is significant wood dust or similar materials that could rest on the heaters. Ensuring a fully operational extract system in these spaces will be important.    

• Control systems may need firmware or software support updates 

• No annual servicing like boilers is required although an annual check on the system via the offsite controls or an onsite review of heating elements and connections could be included as part of a maintenance package
