Installing heating in a church requires more than general electrical knowledge.
The project may involve working at height, specialist access equipment, respecting historic interiors, restricted fixing locations and careful coordination with church representatives and other professional advisers.
With unrivalled knowledge and experience in installation of Herschel Infrared church heating systems, our specialist trained, in-house heritage installation teams will ensure a smooth installation from start to finish.
Heater heights, orientation, spacing and control arrangements will have been agreed during the heritage specification process. These factors all influence the comfort delivered by the finished system.
Herschel’s expert heritage installation team will ensure that the system is installed precisely in accordance with the agreed heating design. This includes confirmation of heater and control positions, coordination of specialist access equipment, where required, and full electrical testing.
Once the heating system is installed, the heating system must be configured around the church and its use. This is particularly important where the church has different zones, event types or occupancy patterns.
Our in-house church heating installation service extends to commissioning of the system. Commissioning includes confirming communication between the heaters and controls, checking individual heater zones, setting initial heating schedules and operational handover.
In addition, the team can demonstrate the system to nominated church representatives and explain how schedules and settings can be adjusted. This helps the church begin using the system confidently rather than being left to determine the correct settings alone.
