This modular homes development is part of Cardiff Council’s flagship housebuilding programme with Wates Residential, Aecom and Homes MMC. The properties aim to accelerate the social housing scheme.
The modular homes were designed using fabric first, modern construction methods with a view to creating sustainable, affordable homes that minimise environmental impact and running costs. The well-insulated, energy efficient homes are all electric and their construction ensures minimal disruption and super quick installation.
Solution
