The heaters were put in over the summer, so we haven’t had the coldest days yet, but experience so far says we will be warmer than we have been for years, save money and be much better able to control the areas of the church we heat for particular events. The congregation like the remote controls, and are particularly pleased with the Manhattans. I am sure that the discrete glow gives a feel good factor that helps people feel warm. We have isolator switches in the vestry but use the remote to control the individual heaters. It seems to be easily sufficient to switch on the heaters when the church warden arrives (half an hour before the service). Representatives from two other parishes on the Island are booked in to see for themselves ahead of planning their new heating scheme.
