The Herschel Comfort HT with InfraSense® is a powerful 2kW infrared heating system designed for high-temperature environments such as infrared yoga and heated pilates studios. Manufactured in the UK, its ultra-slim design and specialist high-temperature finish deliver fast warm-up times, and consistent, even heat.
Powered by InfraSense®, the system measures both radiant and air temperatures to maintain the true “real-feel” temperature with exceptional precision. With three variable power levels (800W, 1200W and 2000W) and independent panel control, Comfort HT ensures reliable comfort, accurate heat management and improved energy efficiency across wellness spaces.

InfraSense® has revolutionised the way we heat yoga studios and other wellness spaces.
Benefits of InfraSense® for Infrared Yoga
InfraSense® uses advanced sensors to continuously scan its heated area every second. This system continuously measures the air and radiant temperatures to calculate the MRT (feels like) temperature to ensure the studio is accurately heated to match specific requirements. InfraSense® also measures air quality and humidity levels to create healthy, comfortable environments.
InfraSense® sensors can detect presence in a room, further improving efficiency by only heating occupied spaces and keeping the heaters off if nobody is present (e.g. if there is a last-minute cancellation of a class).
InfraSense® allows you to continuously monitor your energy usage from your heaters. This allows you to see the exact cost of running your heaters for a single session, but can also show daily, weekly, monthly or annual running costs. Additional features within InfraSense® enable further control by setting budgets. This ensures energy use is kept within a budget and can send usage warnings if you are getting near your set budget.
Healthy environments are vital for infrared yoga and other wellness spaces. InfraSense® can measure the air quality of a studio, and wiill continuoulsy record this in the app. InfraSense® can sense CO2, smoke, pollution, and humidity levels in a space.
InfraSense® can be controlled through an App or web browser, giving you the flexibility to control your heating with any smart device. From the App, you can monitor energy usage, adjust temperatures in each zone, set schedules, set your heating to auto or manual mode, and monitor humidity and air quality in a space to fight damp and mould.

Yes. InfraSense® incorporates a simple to use touch screen control tablet ensuring users can easily control the heaters in the studio. The touch screen enables InfraSense®’s intelligent automatic mode, allowing the heaters to automatically adjust power levels to keep the temperature consistent in each area of the space. This feature allows you to avoid having to manually monitor and adjust power levels throughout sessions. If you did want to manually control the heaters, then the touch screen control tablet can be used to easily choose your zone, then select the desired temperature. We are also happy to provide additional advice over the phone or email to assist in any way required.

Temperature Reading
InfraSense® scans the heated zone every second and is constantly measuring the radiant temperature. As infrared heats people and objects directly, this offers a much more accurate and efficient way of measuring comfort levels as opposed to measuring air temperature. The radiant temperature is also a more accurate reflection of how warm people are.
Automatic Heating
InfraSense® allows you to ensure every single occupied area in a building is being gently warmed to the same level. If one particular area of the building is typically cooler than others (e.g., if it is by a door or window), the InfraSense® system will be able to detect this and adjust its power levels accordingly. Contrastingly, if an area takes less time to warm up, the InfraSense® will detect this and lower (or turn off) its power levels where needed. These automatic adjustments not only maintain a consistent level of comfort throughout the building, but also ensure no areas are being under or overheated, resulting in the heaters running the most efficient way possible.
