Due to continued expansion, Nühaus recently moved to a new office facility at the North West Business Park, Dublin 15. The team applied the highest standards of design and construction to create a contemporary and stylish work environment for the Nühaus team. A key element of the project was heating to maintain year round comfort, whilst also providing a showcase for customers to see best-in-class technology, fixtures and fittings.
After researching heating options, Nühaus contacted Herschel Infrared and the project scope, time-lines and programme were discussed during an initial meeting. Priorities for the heating system were ease of installation, high aesthetic value, affordability and partner support. Based on Herschel’s experience, product range and customer focus we were invited to prepare a full heating design for the new office building.

Solution
Nühaus provided architectural drawings to Herschel, who used them to develop a detailed heating design tailored to the building. Based on site-specific heat loss calculations, Herschel proposed a range of heater panel and space heater options to suit the needs of different rooms and areas. Heater placement was carefully planned to complement both the layout and the interior design of the factory and office spaces, ensuring the system delivered effective heat while integrating seamlessly with the aesthetic.
Different heater types were chosen for specific functions and locations. Heated mirrors were installed in the bathrooms and shower rooms, offering both warmth and practicality. In the meeting areas, heated blackboards serve a dual purpose — providing heat and a creative surface for sketching and notes. The designer Pulsar heater makes a striking impression in the reception area, aligning with the company’s modern look. Summit units are suspended above workstations in the design area, delivering heat exactly where and when it’s needed. Ceiling-mounted panels were also used throughout, helping to maximise wall space while providing a comfortable, consistent heat.
