Salvation Army heated by Herschel Infrared

Heating The Salvation Army’s Hawick Corps

We’re delighted to have completed a new heating project for The Salvation Army’s Hawick Corps. Installed by our Herschel Installation Services (North) team, Hawick Corps presented a varied heating challenge, like many community buildings. A large, high-ceilinged worship hall alongside smaller offices, corridors, a kitchen and ancillary spaces, all of which are used differently with different heating requirements.

The solution combines suspended Herschel Power 6 heaters in the main hall with discreet ceiling and wall-mounted infrared panel heaters (Herschel Comfort and Herschel Krystal ranges) throughout the smaller rooms. Individually zoned controls allow each area to be heated independently, ensuring warmth is delivered only where and when it is needed.

The result is a clean, unobtrusive and space-saving heating system that gives the Corps far greater control over individual spaces while delivering comfortable radiant warmth throughout the building.
“Many thanks for all your help with the project which has been welcomed by the Corps members”. Salvation Army Facilities Team.

Thank you to The Salvation Army Hawick Corps for their co-operation in this project.

Another great example of how infrared heating can provide a practical, flexible solution for challenging-to-heat buildings. See the full case study here.
