Herschel Installation Services

Herschel Infrared is strengthening its installation and service network with the establishment of Herschel Installation Services (North) Ltd. From 1 September, Wallace Electrical founder Brian Wallace will become Managing Director of Herschel Installation Services (North) Ltd, creating a dedicated Herschel Infrared installation business serving customers across Scotland and the North of England.

Based in Dundee, Scotland, Brian brings more than 24 years’ experience in the electrical industry and has worked with Herschel infrared heating systems for over 12 years. Building on the reputation and practical expertise developed through Wallace Electrical, he will be responsible for growing Herschel’s installation and service operations across the region.

The development forms part of a wider expansion of Herschel Installation Services across the UK. The installation and service network is capable of supporting infrared heating projects of all sizes from residential installations through to larger commercial, public sector and heritage heating applications. The investment marks another significant step in Herschel’s continued growth and reflects the company’s ambition to provide customers with a complete infrared heating solution, professionally delivered from initial survey and system design through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.

The new business will also provide Herschel with an established showroom presence in Scotland, giving customers, specifiers, and installers across the North of the UK greater access to the company’s expanding range of infrared heating technologies and technical expertise.

Paul Morey, CEO Herschel Infrared, said:

“Bringing Brian and Wallace Electrical more closely into the Herschel business is an important step in our growth. Brian has been a trusted Herschel installer for many years and brings an exceptional level of practical experience, technical knowledge and commitment to delivering installations properly. As infrared heating becomes an increasingly important part of the transition towards low carbon electric heating, we believe it is essential that customers have access not only to advanced products and technology, but also to the expertise required to design and install systems correctly. With dedicated teams across the UK, we now offer a national service and installation capability. It gives us a strong platform for the next stage of Herschel’s growth and enables us to deliver a consistently high standard of service wherever our customers are located.”

Brian Wallace, Managing Director of Herschel Installation Services (North) Ltd, said:

“I’m delighted to be starting this next chapter with Herschel. I’m incredibly proud of what we have built through Wallace Electrical. The experience, relationships and reputation developed over many years have made this next step possible. By combining Herschel’s technology and technical expertise with the practical installation experience we have developed on site, our aim is to give customers a seamless process from initial survey and system design through to installation, commissioning, and aftercare. We already have some exciting projects ahead and I’m looking forward to building a first-class team and continuing to raise the standard for professionally delivered infrared heating installations across Scotland and the North of England.”

The expansion of Herschel Installation Services comes as Herschel continues to invest in the development of its infrared heating technology, technical capability, and customer offering. As infrared heating becomes increasingly sophisticated, Herschel believes that product innovation must be matched by the technical expertise and installation infrastructure needed to deliver systems correctly and consistently at scale.
