The 3kW variable power controller is a compact controller for varying the power output of an infrared space heater.

The control enables operators to manually switch on / off and raise or lower the temperature of their space heaters where thermostats or remote controls cannot easily be used (for example workshops or point of sales booths).

The unit is simple to install and connect.

Not suitable for heaters with built-in remote control units.

With its award-winning designer finish and smart, flexible control via the SmartLife App, the Herschel iQ MKS Mains powered WiFi Thermostat provides the ideal choice for control of your infrared heating system. Perfect for new builds and renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications and can control temperatures of up to 45°C. When used in conjunction with your WiFi network and the SmartLife App, MKS can run in fully programmable ‘Smart Mode’ enabling you to manage your heating as efficiently as possible whether you are home or away.

MKS is wired directly to the mains circuit and to the heaters and requires recessing into the wall or can be surface-mounted to the wall with a back box.

The MKS thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MKS is easy to operate via the SmartLife App or via push buttons and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.

MKS has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorised tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties.  The MKS is a 16 Amp thermostat enabling up to 3.6 kW of Herschel heaters to be connected. They can be used with the Comfort, Inspire, Select XLS or Herschel space heating range.

If using the MKS with the Select XLS panel range the SMART-R function of the XLS panel will be bypassed. The thermostat will have to be hard-wired directly to the heater as well as the mains. (It is not possible to pair wirelessly with the panel).

Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters.   *Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty. 

The Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat is ideal for new builds / renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications. When used in conjunction with your wifi network and the SmartLife app, MD2 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, enabling you to manage your heating when you are away from the building.

The MD2 is easy to operate, featuring a large digital touchscreen display and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.

The Herschel iQ T2 Thermostat pack (including one T2 thermostat plus R2 Receiver) incorporates the very latest energy-saving technology and is specifically designed to regulate Herschel Infrared heaters. When used with WiFi you can also regulate your heating remotely using the Smart Life App.

Easy to install it is perfect for installations where hard wiring to the MD2 Thermostat would be impractical (for example, if you wish to minimise chasing out walls/cable trunking).

The T2 pack comprises a battery operated, wireless T2 Thermostat which can be wall mounted or free standing (and also includes one R2 Receiver).

The R2 Receiver must be wired to the mains electricity supply and also to the Herschel heater(s). The T2 and R2 are paired wirelessly to each other and the R2 can also be paired to your WiFi for Smart Life app control (if required).

The T2 will then control all R2s which are paired to it.  The T2 pack will control up to 2kW (at 230V supply) of Herschel Infrared heaters on one electrical circuit. To control more heaters in the same zone, or if you wish to use one R2 Receiver per heater, simply purchase additional R2 receivers and pair them to the T2.

The T2 features 2 manual modes and 7 x 1 day programming and is an easy to operate thermostat. The T2 incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function ensuring your room is always at the right temperature with the least energy use.

Note:

Herschel controls will only work with Herschel heaters.  Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.

A T2 must be used even if Smart Life app control is to be the primary means of controlling your heating (i.e. you cannot use just the App and R2).

The T-T2 pack incorporates one T2 thermostat and one R2 Receiver.
