As part of the Design, Technical and Innovation team of Clarion housing group we were tasked to find the very best in technologies for the following categories; sustainability, MEP, Modern Methods of Construction, Digital, Specification.
In our extensive market research we looked into all manner of heating system for both water and environment, each that need to compliment the sustainable aspirations of our new buildings. It is in this space that Herschel’s infrared panels and Mixergy tanks were assessed in a plethora of scenarios.
We found the system to be not only high performing for future tenants but offers a range of additional features such as positive reduction in mould and improvement in air quality. The cost of installation was comparable to that of a fossil fuel installation but when accompanied with PV on roof and battery systems this was thought to be one of the best offers on the market for Latimer. Therefore we included the recommendation of Herschel infrared panels for all future buildings to be examined by contractors across the land”.
