The stylish and powerful SUMMIT is an ideal choice for both indoor space heating applications and for heating those areas that open up to the outdoors. Designed with the latest Kanthal AF heating elements and finished with a GE IR enhancing coating, the SUMMIT provides an energy efficient heating solution for those areas that require effective comfort heating without the light emitted by medium-Infrared heaters.
The SUMMIT is suitable for indoor locations and can be both wall mounted or hung directly overhead from the ceiling, maximising the heating in the area directly underneath the heater. The slimline and tasteful SUMMIT is an excellent solution for restaurants, bars, shops and similar indoor environments seeking a stylish, yet discreet, heating solution for their space.
The SUMMIT is ideal for covered rooms for those people looking to maximise indoor-outdoor living, providing heat from a gentle, zero light heating solution. The Herschel SUMMIT must be under permanent cover and fully protected against the risk of any water ingress or exposure to rainfall.
In areas with air movement and wind, the far infrared spread may reduce by 1/3 to 1/2. In such instances, we recommend proportionally increasing the number of heaters, or for colder, windier situations, choosing a heater from our Sunset or Performance outdoor range.
SUMMIT 2600R has a handheld remote control providing 2 power settings (100% and 50%) and a 1-24 hour timer. It must be operated via the handheld remote control and cannot be linked to any any controller. The SUMMIT 2600 (Non-remote model) can be used with external thermostat controllers, such as the Herschel iQ MD2, allowing thermostatic and App control.

3kW Variable Power Controller
The 3kW variable power controller is a compact controller for varying the power output of an infrared space heater.
The control enables operators to manually switch on / off and raise or lower the temperature of their space heaters where thermostats or remote controls cannot easily be used (for example workshops or point of sales booths).
The unit is simple to install and connect.
Not suitable for heaters with built-in remote control units.

6kW Soft Start Controller
The 6kW Soft Start controller is designed to reduce the impact on heaters and electrical circuits of high startup currents that occur when full power to the heaters is switched on instantly.
High inductive loads or “Inrush currents” caused by switching on high power equipment instantly can cause damage to the heaters and can also cause nuisance tripping of circuit breakers. Using a soft start controller will eliminate nuisance tripping and will also prolong the life of the heater, due to the gentler start up time.
The controller works by gradually applying full power over 5 seconds after current is first detected by the controller.
The unit can work passively by waiting until current is detected and soft-starting the heater. This makes it ideal as part of a large installation of heaters where a central control such as a thermostat switches a number of heaters on and off and the soft start just responds when it detects the current. Alternatively a simple switch can be connected to the unit to activate the current directly to the unit which makes it ideal for smaller or domestic installations where the heater can be switched on directly via the soft start control. This gives operators a lot of flexibility in how they want to design and control their heating system.

Herschel iQ T-MKS Mains Powered WiFi Thermostat Silver
With its award-winning designer finish and smart, flexible control via the SmartLife App, the Herschel iQ MKS Mains powered WiFi Thermostat provides the ideal choice for control of your infrared heating system. Perfect for new builds and renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications and can control temperatures of up to 45°C. When used in conjunction with your WiFi network and the SmartLife App, MKS can run in fully programmable ‘Smart Mode’ enabling you to manage your heating as efficiently as possible whether you are home or away.
MKS is wired directly to the mains circuit and to the heaters and requires recessing into the wall or can be surface-mounted to the wall with a back box.
The MKS thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MKS is easy to operate via the SmartLife App or via push buttons and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.
MKS has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorised tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. The MKS is a 16 Amp thermostat enabling up to 3.6 kW of Herschel heaters to be connected. They can be used with the Inspire, Select XLS or Herschel space heating range.
If using the MKS with the Select XLS panel range the SMART-R function of the XLS panel will be bypassed. The thermostat will have to be hard-wired directly to the heater as well as the mains. (It is not possible to pair wirelessly with the panel).
Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. *Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.

The Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat is ideal for new builds / renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications. We live in an apartment in a converted listed building with tall ceilings and large sash windows. The electric heating system that was put in as part of the conversion just couldn’t heat the space and we suffered through a few very cold winters.
Last year we got in contact with Herschel and they talked us through all the options available, we settled on the Summit panels as they look sleek and stylish and it’s absolutely changed the feeling of our home. Not only do they heat our home amazingly but as silly as it sounds, it’s a real comforting warmth rather than the stuffy feeling you can get some convection radiators.
Can’t recommend Herschel and these radiators highly enough.

Highly recommend these heaters. We installed a number in our restaurant space which is located in an old building with high ceilings. The heaters are very effective, and we’re really pleased with how easy they are to control, especially when we set different areas on different temperatures. Heating a large space such as ours is never going to be cheap, but I am very satisfied that these heaters are providing one of the best economical solutions. Great service from Herschel too, won’t hesitate to use again.

I is now mounted as living room heating, we live in a very old spanish house, so we only heat the room we actually are using, when we use them. For that purpose the SUMMIT 2600 is perfect. A a danish family, we are used to B&O audio design, and our house is filled with there loudspeakers and this modern slim, black on aluminium design of the SUMMIT 2600 fits right in. Super service from the company, on fast delivery, and quality control.

Our electrician actually fitted the unit today. He was well impressed and my husband is absolutely delighted with both the unit and the heat.
We are extremely pleased with the purchase of a far infrared Herschel heater for our new orangery. Since it was positioned, we have had snow outside but have been really cozy indoors despite having a glass roof, bifold glass wall, glass door and 5 windows as well as a tiled floor. There has been absolutely no condensation, the heat is instant and it’s positioning is discreet and safe for the grandchildren.
All of our visitors have been really impressed and they can’t work out where the heat is coming from. Standing near it is definitely on par with leaning against the kitchen range. Love it.
I’d also like to thank you for your excellent customer care and advice and the swift and reliable delivery. Fitting the unit was very straightforward for our electrician, who had never seen one before. All in all the whole package was excellent.
