Description
The zero maintenance 2.5kW Herschel COLORADO 2500 with its classic, tasteful and sleek design is a powerful electric space heater from our Sunset range. Ideal for those looking for a discreet, effective and easy to control solution, the Colorado has a smart, black aluminium powder-coated finish and is suitable for indoor and outdoor locations where airflow is manageable. Well-suited for both domestic and commercial markets, Colorado 2500 is an excellent solution for outdoor restaurant and bar terraces and similar indoor environments seeking a stylish, effective heating solution for their space.
The high protection afforded by COLORADO’s IP55 rating allows it to be mounted outdoors and exposed to rainfall. It can be both wall or ceiling mounted or alternatively a stand (available separately) allows COLORADO to be mounted as a temporary heater where it can be used exactly where and when it is needed.
With a warm up time of just 5-10 seconds, the ultra-long life carbon heating lamp of the COLORADO, with a bulb life of up to 10,000 hours, quickly produces an effective feeling of comfortable warmth. The COLORADO 2500 can be used with external controllers, such as the Herschel iQ MD2 Thermostat. Where extra precision and control are required or for outdoor use, the COLORADO 2500R is available with a remote-control providing 4 power settings (100%; 75%; 50%; 25%) and can be timer controlled for up to 24 hours. The COLORADO offers maximum heating flexibility enabling you to maintain comfort levels even if the temperature changes around you.
The ultra-long life Carbon lamp emits a warm orange glow avoiding the glare produced by most quartz halogen heaters available.
As always in exposed areas with air movement and wind, infrared spread may reduce by 1/3 to 1/2. In these areas we recommend mounting at the lowest height and proportionally increasing the number of heaters.

Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat
The Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat is ideal for new builds / renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications. When used in conjunction with your wifi network and the SmartLife app, MD2 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, enabling you to manage your heating when you are away from the building.
MD2 is wired directly to the mains circuit and to the heaters and requires recessing into the wall.
The MD2 thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MD2 is easy to operate, featuring a large digital touchscreen display and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.
MD2 has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorised tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. The MD2 is a 16 amp thermostat enabling up to 3.6 kW of Herschel heaters to be connected.
Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. The MD2 thermostat is not compatible with Remote models.
*Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.

Optional extension cable. Option to extend the cable length from 2m to 5m for patio heaters. Includes IP68 waterproof connector from the end of the heater wire to the extension lead. Complete with robust UK 3-pin plug.

Adjustable Heater Stand
Make your Herschel outdoor patio heater free-standing with this purpose-built heater stand. With an adjustable extension, height adjustable up to 2.1m, this stand will enable you to move your heater to exactly where you want the heat.
Stainless steel with weighted (5kg) base with a chrome finish. Base (under side) contains recycled material. Length with telescopic extension: 1.1m – 2.1m.
This stand is designed to work with Herschel Colorado, California, Miami heaters. Not suitable for use with Herschel Manhattan and will not fit non-Herschel heaters.
